Christmas 2009

Hope everyone had a wonderful, blessed Christmas!! I know our family enjoyed every minute of ours! I was able to keep the kids on Christmas Eve and Christmas morning, so that was gift enough for me! We were extremely fortunate this year. Surrounded by family, friends, gifts, giving, faith, and love. Such a special time of year, and it means more and more to me every year. I hope your family was as lucky as ours, and we wish each and every one of you a healthy and wealthy 2010!!!

Unwanted Visitors

Well, it happened! Last night I got that unexpected visitor. You know, the one that shows up when you LEAST expect it. The one that is not exactly appreciated. The one that comes at the most inopportune time, when you have SO Much other stuff going on! Christmas shopping, gift wrapping, decorating, cleaning, cooking, etc etc etc. Why do I have to deal with a VISITOR on top of that!!!

Can you guess who my visitor is?! No, girls, not the beloved crimson rush. Not my mother-in-law, don't really have any of those anymore! Not even a person, at least I don't think...

My uninvited visitor is scads of LAUNDRY that I thought I was caught up on!! Where does it come from?! Just when you think you're caught up, I dare you to turn your back! Go get a drink of water, or run to Wal-Mart. When you come back and refocus, you'll find piles that have come out of corners, toyboxes, diaper bags, or home from the other parents house! lol

Now I'm not sure who the culprit is that hides all these clothes and TOWELS! No...I haven't figured that out. It happens when you're not around, not looking, or just not paying attention. They hide them often, and they hide them well. It really gets under my skin...I think it's the same fool that's responsible for the socks that disappear out of the dryer!

Here's your warning, Stealer of the Socks, Hider of the Clothes, I KNOW you're out there. I SEE what you're doing. And one day......yes, one glorious day I shall catch you! You won't know when, you won't know how....but your day is coming!! :)

A little privacy please?

Well, I'm thinking about making the blog private. Not because I want to take it away from any of you that blog-stalk under the radar, but because there are way too many crazies out there. My 2 angels deserve much more than to have some weirdo gawking at their pictures. That, and there are obviously some of you that don't have anything good to say, and quite honestly...I don't want to hear it! This blog is for me, my family, and my friends. It's too keep everyone we care about 'in the loop' about our lives. It's NOT, however, to update anyone who doesn't need updating. If you aren't involved in our day to day lives in any way, why do you need to keep up on our blog?! SO, that being said, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE leave me a comment or an email ~ biberstines@hotmail.com ~ and let me know you're a reader. leave me your email address and I'll authorize you as a viewer. That simple. Don't be shy. Don't think that just because I may not realize you read, that I won't want you reading. If I know you, by all means I'd love you to be a follower!
