My Wish

For some reason, songs just pop into my head. Yours too, I'm sure. Anyway, I felt like this was a good one to share with all of you, since you all are such a HUGE part of my life! :)

15 More Random Things!

Alright, lets face it, I'm somewhat addicted to doing these darn things!! I love to read random things about others, and I know you're all just aching to read about me! :) I didn't get tagged to do this, just doing it for my own satisfaction, so I'm not going to tag anyone else this time, either. However, I'd love for you all to play along..... leave a comment if you play, so we can see your list! Here goes, 15 Random things about Ms Jennifer Biberstine..... hold on to your seats... LOL

1. I love getting dirty! {i.e. 4 wheeling or mudding!!}

2. I hope to someday own a big diesel truck, extended cab, long bed! LOL

3. I love getting dressed up and spending loads of time on my hair and makeup.

4. I would love to someday adopt a child or 2 from a foreign country.

5. I would love to be a crime scene investigator, and interrogate people. However I'm totally freaked out by blood and such!

6. I'd love for some sweet farm boy to "take me for a ride on his big green tractor". Seriously!

7. I believe it often rains the hardest on those who deserve the sun. BUT if you carry your umbrella around long enough and put up with the rain, you'll be the one to see the rainbow!!

8. I have a candy addiction. A serious one!

9. I want to someday have a St Bernard named Tiny and a little tiny dog named Spike.

10. I want to be treated like an adult, but I don't ever want to grow up.

11. I believe the grass really always is greener on the other side of the fence, but I'm also convinced that's where the neighbors dog poops!

12. I have no regrets, only lessons learned. Many were tough to face, but they've made me who I am today.

13. I'd love to be a great housekeeper, but its definately not my nature!

14. I value others opinions, probably too much. I am an individual, but I also want to be liked by EVERYONE.

15. I think millionaires should donate a lot more than they do. You're not rich because you work harder, you just get paid more. There are plenty of people suffering, help them out! I would love to be able to give to those less fortunate!!

Open Wide and say AHHH

Miss Jordyn had her first dentist appt! Actually, to be honest, this was like 6 months ago and I just realized I never posted them. I was so proud of her!! My little girl is scared of, well, alright....everything!!!!!! Seriously, pretty much everything! So...needless to say I was somewhat dreading the dentist. This girl stepped up and was a true champ!!! She did wonderful! In fact the dentist told us that she is "the perfect example of what I like to see in a kid...her teeth AND her behavior". Can I even explain how proud that made this Momma?! :) And they gave her a brand spankin new Cinderella toothbrush and a tiny bottle of Crest for Kids! And Drew even got his own little fish toothbrush! And I swear I do NOT still have that tiny little bottle of Crest for Kids in my purse... not me, because that was like 6 months ago. And I keep everything organized....... ha ha ha!!!!

On other notes.... took Drew to the ENT today. Just really to check his hearing and rule that out as to why he doesn't talk yet. I KNEW going in that they'd tell me his hearing was fine and he's just stubborn. And seeing as how I'm ALWAYS right, that MUST be what they told us, right?!?!?!?! WRONG!!! He had a lot of pressure in his right ear, and so much wax he couldn't even see the eardrum. The left ear had slight pressure, and a lot of fluid buildup around the eardrum. Go figure! We earned ourselves some antibiotic and a trip back in a month!! YAY! ;( He said that if he could predict, he's guessing this fluid has been there awhile and we'll most likely be doing tubes. SO, lets hope this antibiotic helps him feel better until then, and if tubes are needed, tubes we'll get. I just want my baby boy to be happy and healthy!!

I had a FANTASTIC weekend last weekend. Truthfully, nothing too crazy or out of the ordinary happened, but I finally felt truly at peace with ME. I hung out with my kids Friday night and Saturday while they're dad had school. Then Saturday afternoon a friend and I headed to the BIG CITY nearby to meet up with some other friends! It was a girls night, 6 of us in total, and it was a blast!! I so miss my girls and hanging out with them!! OHh how our lives have changed!! It was much needed, and I'd say much deserved by all of us! I was able to be ME and enjoy myself without trying to impress a soul. I feel like it was a huge waking up moment for me, and I realized I can have a good time and be happy without anyone elses help!! YAY ME!!! :)

I think that's really the only updates we have for now....My baby boy will be 2 VERY soon, so I'll have to get a party together shortly! Can't believe how fast time flies!!!!! Hope you all are enjoying spring so far....I know we can't get enough of it! :)

I can't get over how sweet it is that my little man wrote and sang me a song, and even tried directing the band!! LOL Love his arm motions at the end...I think he's been watching the choir director at church!! :)

Dinner Date!

I just had one of the best dinner dates ever! I had to share with all of you!! We sat at a little table in the corner, had potatoes and chicken, and pecan-chocolate chip cookies for dessert! The conversation flowed, he was extremely charming, and THE cutest boy I've ever laid eyes on! He has absolutely stolen my heart, and I think you could call this LOVE!!! He fed me potatoes, made silly faces to make me smile, and held my hand while we ate. He even leaned over for a smooch during dinner! Fabulous time!!!
