Tot Ziens, 2010!

Tot Ziens, Adios, Sayonara, Farewell....What it boils down to is See ya later, 2010! What a short year with some long days, trying times, and fantastic memories!!! It's unreal to me that this year is over. SO much went on in the past year of my life. Good, bad, happy, sad. I've met some fantastic new friends that I'm so thankful for! Friends that have helped me (many of them without even realizing it!) to find myself, my happiness, my little place in this world. I have grown so much in the last year. We've said goodbye to some people in our lives, some willingly, some due to death. People that have impacted our lives in many ways, people we'll miss, and some that we were happy to see go and are better off without! {For the record, I'm not referring to anyone that passed away when I say people we were happy to see go!!!} ;) We've had ups and downs, ins and outs, good times and bad, sickness and health. But we're still here, I'm still here, and I am determined to come out on top yet again!!! 2010 was a year of change for me, and although it was GREAT in so many ways, I'm ecstatic to see what 2011 has to bring! Lots more changes coming, some of them I'm already getting planned. I hope that you all have a happy, healthy, wealthy, and all around phenomenal 2011! Ready or not, here it comes....and I say BRING IT ON!!!
.
Here are Jordyn and Drew last year around this time...They've grown and changed so much, more visible with Drew, and I'm so blessed to have them and proud to call them my children!!!

**These two are my world. They are my purpose. They are my life. I will go to any length and do whatever I need to do, to keep them happy and healthy. I will make every sacrifice necessary to give them the lives they deserve. That being said, I will not stop defending, protecting, and loving my children. I'm their mother, and I'm not going anywhere. You have been warned! ;)

Happy New Year, all!!!

Lookin Back...

I'm sitting here looking back at old pictures, and thought I'd share a few. They saved very small, not sure why, but they're cute anyway!! They were all 3 taken around the end of August/beginning of September, 2007. Jordyn would have been about 23 months old, and Carter would have been about 28 months. Precious!! ;)

Sneak Peek!

Here's a sneak peek of some Christmas photos my kickass, pregnant sis and I took of our 4 kickass kiddos the other day!! Excuse the overuse of the word 'kickass' however, I love my sis, my kids, and my nephews, so it seemed appropriate! ;)

Jordyn {5}, Carter {5}, Cason {3}, and Drew {2}
.
Considering we're not professionals, these were taken on my cell phone, and our kids aren't exactly....CALM, I think they turned out pretty well. However, these definately aren't the best shots we got....the best are on the actual camera, and those will be shown later!
.
Anyhow, we had a busy, productive weekend (minus the part where I was sick and sleeping on the couch), and I'm exhausted. It's late. I'm going to bed! Enjoy the sneak peek! :)

Meet Bob...

I'd like to introduce you to the newest member of our household. He will only be with us temporarily...until Christmas Eve, to be specific. He's been here for well over a month now, off and on. He's here all day long, and from what we understand he leaves when we're sleeping.
Meet Bob.
Bob is an elf sent to our home from the North Pole. He hangs out here during the day, although he's under the strictest of orders from the Big Guy (Santa Claus) himself. Bob is not allowed to move, not allowed to talk, and not allowed to communicate with us whatsoever. When we go to bed at night, he heads back to the North Pole to report directly to Santa. He tells Santa whether the kids have been good or bad. If they listen, keep their toys picked up, share, and if they're nice to each other. We never see Bob move, although he does so every day or so. We've found him in some strange places... on top of the microwave, in Carter and Jordyns room, even hanging out on the light above the kitchen table! This Bob is quite the peculiar fellow, but he does keep the kids in check! ;)

Chillin in the big Christmas tree

A little male bonding time...

And hanging out in the boys Christmas tree

The kids know they can't touch Bob, or he'll lose his powers. He's even sent his friend/brother/cousin/whoknowswhat to Grandma and Grandpas house, so when the kids are there visiting, the elves are still watching!
You can find out more about Bob *here*... Believe me, Moms, Dads, Grandmas, Grandpas, Aunts, Uncles, neighbors down the street.... he's worth it!!
