Jordyns First Day of School~ Ever!!

Well Jordyn started preschool last Monday. She was very excited that morning until she realized I was taking her to the babysitters first. Then the war started!! I got her there, and she calmed down as soon as I left. Then she was so excited that the bus was coming to get her. And as it turns out, luck was on our side AGAIN! (BAD luck, that is!) The bus was to be there by 9 am. At about 20 after 9 I got a phone call from our sitter saying that the bus hadn't been there yet. I called the school and was told they didn't pick her up because they didn't have her emergency medical form. The funny part of that was that they knew WHERE she was to be picked up at, but didn't have the paper........UMM that info was on the same paper! The emergency med form was the same form that had the bussing info! ANYWAY, I had to leave work, go pick her up and take her to school. Once I return to work I had a voicemail from the transportation director that OOPS they had misplaced our form. They actually did have it, (DUH!) but it had slipped through the cracks! Well Jordyn did make it to school, and did LOVE it, as I knew she would. It was just a minor inconvenience, but I can't understand why our luck seems to generally be bad luck these days!! ENOUGH already! :) Anyway, here are pics of J the morning of her ACTUAL first day, and getting on the bus on her second day of school but first day being picked up by the bus! I can't believe how big my baby girl is!! Going to school already....WOW!!! I'm so proud of my little Jayderbug!

She has informed us that her favorite part of school is riding the bus! She loves it!

3 Men and a Little Lady

Alright, well I loaded these pictures in the wrong order, so you're going to see the Little Lady before the 3 (Little) Men!! This post is all about COUSINS! My 2 nephews, Carter and Cason, and Jordyn and Drew live over an hour away from each other, but LOVE the times they get to spend together!!! They have a blast each and every time, and are growing closer and closer with age! Here's to the closeness of Cousins!! :)

~Very Very Very Very (I think you get the hint...) excited to start pre-school on Monday!! Her teacher is Mrs Small, and Jordyn already knows what she's going to wear on the first day of school!! .....pictures to come!!

Little Man Drew:

~Talks ALL the time (talking to Uncle Brian above), tries to repeat some words here and there

~Still insists on CRAWLING everywhere. Wants NOTHING to do with walking!

~Into EVERYTHING - typical little boy!!

~Loves music and dancing

~Loves to eat - have not found a single food he doesn't like!

~LOVES to swing

Finally, at 15 months old, we can say Drew has given up the bottle!! He's now using sippies, and ONLY sippies! He's VERY excited! LOL

Update Time...

I suppose it's time to let you all know what's been going on with us. Most of you probably know by now, but if not....here goes. Mike and I are going to be getting a dissolusion. I will not go into details about what happened, or who did what. I'm not getting up on my soap box, and not placing blame. It takes 2 to make a marriage, and 2 to end a marriage. It also takes 2 to maintain a marriage after those rocky times. I am now living at my brothers with the 2 kids. He has been WONDERFUL in helping us feel welcome and comfortable. Mike is staying with a friend for now. Jordyn is noticing that things are not 'normal', however she seems fairly content with everything right now. She's very young, as is Drew. We are tough, and we will make it through these hard times, and there will be MUCH BRIGHTER days ahead. Please pray for ALL of us as we make this transition and hopefully we can all move on and find true happiness for ourselves and especially those 2 cute littles ones I call my angels!! :) I will try to post again soon....I do have a few pictures to share. They will be few and far between, I'm guessing, because I did get to keep the computer, but I did NOT get to keep the camera. Until I replace that, you'll have to accept cell phone pictures!! ;)
