Where have we been?!?!

Just wanted to update any of you that have been checking our blog for new posts. We had the internet shut off at home until we get moved next month or so. Eventually we'll be back online and I'll be a blogging fool, but until then....be patient! :)

Not Again?!?

Oh yes, again! The kids are BOTH sick AGAIN!! It's February 11, and this is the second time THIS YEAR as in 2009 that we've had sick kids!!! Drew wasn't sick the last time, it was Jordyn and I. But this time he's the culprit, and he's passed it on to his big sis as well!! I've now missed 8 days of work since Jan 1st. This is not a good thing. Really, really not a good thing!! We went to the dr yesterday, Drew has possible RSV. She said there is no sense in testing him at this point, because she wouldn't treat it any differently. He's on 3 meds and doing breathing treatments. Jordyn is just on cough med at this point, but we have a script for antibiotic in case she gets worse. Gotta love it!!!

Here's Mr Drew. These are the bubbles he's been blowing the last couple of days. I kept wanting to snap a pic, and kept thinking that's just sick...bad parenting. So I'd just wipe his nose and move on. Well I was just trying to capture a picture of him to post, and he happened to blow one of his infamous bubbles just as I snapped it!! SO, instead of deleting it like a good little momma would, I'm posting it to share with all of you!! Say what you will, I think it's funny!! :)

And here's our little Hippie! Jordyn did her hair in a headband today. All by herself!! :)

Flashback Friday

Ok, so I'm stealing a couple of blog ideas from other blogs I look at. No, Wordless Wednesday and Flashback Friday are NOT my own ideas. BUT they are quick, easy, and fun ideas for posts, so I'm borrowing them! :)

This was taken November 29, 2006. Jordyn was 13 months old and happy as can be! I had this as the wallpaper on my cell phone for a LONG time!! Love it!!

Before and After

I was looking through old pictures and found this one of Jordyn. I LOVE IT!! It was taken March 3, 2007. Jordyn would have been 17 months old. This was all of the stuffed animals she had at that time...

Fast forward to January 19, 2009. She climbed into Drews crib (her old crib) and stood up and got ALL of the stuffed animals out of the net above. Mike caught her and took a picture. What a funny girl!!!

And here is Part II of the Before and After, because I couldn't leave the little guy out!! Before....this was his first time sitting in a high chair. We were at my moms house, September 27, 2008, and he looks terrified!! Sorry the quality isn't great, these are cell phone pictures.

And After....January 25, 2009. More Please!! Drew was eating peas, and lovin it!! Couldn't get enough. That face full of fear is replaced by a face full of food!!

Jordyn's Snow Day!

Several weeks ago when it snowed, Jordyn got to go outside and play in the snow for the first time! Daddy went out with her, while Mommy and Drew stayed inside where it's warm! We'll take Drew out someday when it's not quite so bitter cold! Anyway, she had a BLAST!! She loves her pink snow pants, her princess light-up boots, and her gloves!!



Snow Angels! Ok, not really but they're 2 of my angels, and they're in the snow..... lol


Jordyn and Daddy shoveling the back patio! She went and got her little sand shovel and helped as best as she could! Too cute!!!


She even loves her pink house when it's cold out! Thanks so much, Covey's!! This was a hand-me-down that Jordyn can't get enough of!!

And this was actually the day before the snow, but I thought it was cute! :)
