6 months old TODAY! WOW...Time Flies!

And some AWESOME news.....

Jordyn is now going #2 on the potty!!
We are still using diapers at nap time and bedtime, but the rest of the time it's big girl pants!~ She's even going in public! Yes, these 2 things have been a huge battle for us. She would only go #1, and not anywhere public! So, needless to say, we are PUMPED!! YAY JORDYN!!!

This picture is 3 months old, but believe it or not, we don't have a whole lot of pictures of ANYONE on the potty! LOL

Happy Halloween!

Finally, Trick or Treat pictures! Jordyn was a fairy princess and Drew was a monkey. It was cold that day, so we just went to a couple houses of people we know, but Jordyn had fun.

Both kids together, It's hard to get a good picture of a 3 yr old with a 6 mo old!


Grandma Suzi with the cutest monkey ever! Spur of the moment, she drove up to see the kids dressed up and have dinner with us! It was great to see you!

Big Man! I can't believe Drew is growing up SO quick! Typical male, though, he's got a bottle (his is formula!) and the remote, laying on the couch! :)

We got Jordyn a piggy bank for her birthday that came with paint to decorate it. She loved it and she did a great job of painting it!

I just took this video tonight when Jordyn was 'winding down' to go to bed. I was in the kitchen and heard them laughing, this is what they were up to..... What an AWESOME big sister, she'll do anything to make Drew laugh!

Happy Anniversary!

This past Saturday was our 5 yr wedding anniversary! 5 yrs already! We had the weekend without kids so that we could just 'be'. It was so nice, and we really enjoyed each others company! We don't get too many opportunties to spend time as just 'us'. I was reminded of all the reasons I married Mike to start with, and I'm looking forward to many more years together!

Used the timer on this one also. Drew was asleep, so we'll have to get one of the whole family sometime when he's awake and happy!

Mike just repainted all of the trim on our house, along with the garage door. Jordyn HAD to help, she actually did a great job until she accidentally painted Mommys khaki work pants! Any ideas on how to get exterior latex paint out of clothes!?!?

Happy 3rd Birthday Jordyn!!

Jordyns birthday party was this past weekend. What a beautiful day for a beautiful little girl!! The weather was gorgeous, and the company was great. We had tons of food, tons of fun, and , you guessed it, tons of presents! We got some pretty good pictures of all 4 kids (Jordyn, Drew, Carter, and Cason) and Grandma was able to get some awesome pictures of Drew! Enjoy!

As you can see, we are incredibly Blessed! Our kids are loved by so many, we are so fortunate! Thanks again to all who came and shared Jordyns day with us!! It was definately a birthday party to remember, tantrums and all!

Growing Up!

Our kids are growing up right before our eyes!! Jordyn, our little princess, turns 3 on Friday! She's becoming quite the little lady and amazes us constantly!! It is so much fun just to hang out and talk to her...she's quite the little storyteller!

Andrew is 5 months old today already! He's rolling over, sitting up as long as he can lean on his hands, and babbling like crazy! He watches everyone and everything, just taking it all in. He loves Baby Einstein movies...I mean LOVES them! He laughs and talks to the movies...too precious! I have mixed feelings about putting him in front of the tv, but I figure Baby Einstein can't hurt, right?!



Well, he's in the hamper, should he go on the gentle cycle?

Goodbye, Summer!

Finally, a new post! I've got LOTS of pictures to share, and even some videos, so prepare yourself! Buckle up and hold on...this could be a long ride! :)

The weekend of August 22, my nephews Carter and Cason were in town visiting. The kids got to play a LOT. They just love spending time together, and since they don't see each other often, every chance they get is precious. Mom and I took all 4 kids to the park to see the Childrens Garden and play on the playground. Then we were brave enough to visit the McDonalds PlayPlace. What an adventure...Carter and Jordyn both got lost in the tunnels, and we had to send some nice kid up there to show them the way back down! Too funny!

The following weekend was the County Fair. This was the first year Jordyn really got into it. She loved the rides and even the corndogs and funnel cakes! We let her get a wristband on Sunday to ride the little rides. She LOVED it...and was even asking to ride the big rides! My Dad and Mike each took her on a couple of the big rides. She even rode the crazy boat that goes clear up in the air....we're going to have a daredevil on our hands, I'm afraid!

Last weekend Mikes cousin, Denise, got married. Jordyn got to be the Flower Girl! TOO CUTE! She did very well, I was pleasantly surprised! Denise had gotten her a little headpiece to wear, and it stayed on for a few pictures, and that was it!! Daddy was in NY for a Yankees game (they won!), so we recorded a couple of videos. She loved the ring bearer, they played and danced all night!!
